I've enjoyed 750words so far, though I've only done 4 days! XD The site recommends writing in the morning, but I don't often have much time in the mornings, I just get up and go. I have been writing in the evening to get my thoughts and events of the day out of my head before bed. I actually did sit down and write this morning though after reading your comment. I did have a fic idea stirring and got that out, I don't know if anything will come of it, but it's there if I need it.
You feel like you write Mary Sues? Your characters often reflect their personalities well enough that I have never had that feeling towards what you write. Maybe with practice I will feel more confident with writing, too.
