I find it funny
May. 20th, 2013 12:41 pmI posted my first fanfiction into a contest. The contest is finally up and LOL there where only two entries, my little short fic and a massive fic that I haven't read yet, but is already obviously why a head of mine. XD
I am kind of sad that there were not more posts that contest, it seemed likea really greatprompt in my mind, but thatmaybe why I wrote for it. I know that there are a lot of prompts out there that I wouldfind terribly hard to write for. I have been haveing so much fun with what little writing I have been doing. I know I need to start simpler. I have a certain style I want to write, but I just dont think that style is me. So I think I may try other different things in my comfort level. I just don't know how tocome up with a plot. My writing is very very simple, I don't know how to send my characters out on an adventure or anything like that. I feel that it all just comes out the same as a little sweet fic with no real point to it, but I guess it is a start and it does force me to write.
I didn't write anything this weekend. I bought a new toy and have been quite distracted by it. I bought a tablet. Currently I am typing from it's screen. I find it very difficult to type. I had been tought to feel the keys and not look at the keyboard. Well, that doesn't work with a tablet unless you also buy the $120 keyboard to go with it. I have to watch my fingers and watch what I type to be sure I am typing the correct letters and that I am hitting the spacebar, which is really causing me issues, you would think a button at the bottome of the screen would be easy to hit, but no, it is really hard. I also want to see if there is a spell check option. It does give me word options it thinks I want, but if I am just typing and not cheching the words, because I'm not most of the time, I want my screen to tell me I have spelt something wrong. I think I will get use to it though. Already I feel like my typing has improved just writing this post, even if it did take me half an hour to write :p
