This was a good weekend for me, even though I did end up sleeping a lot of it -_-;

Saturday Hubby and I were up earlyish and made the small road trip to Salem. We enjoyed a nice breakfast at IHOP and made our way over the the Toys R Us. They had a lot of the Beast Hunter toys out, sadly we aren't really too interested in many of those. I keep debating some of the cyberverse toys, but haven't managed to buy any of them for myself. Hubby only had interest in Twin Twish, who does look cool!, and they happened to have him in. Hubby loves the horrorcons, he is happy to get some of those again. We also found the Kreon sets. I bought the Constructicons for myself and the Combaticons will probably shared between the two of us.

I am going to try to remove the front of the chest pieces with these guys. I don't understand why they put the stickers on the chest piece if they are just going to cover it up. I'm also very glad that they have unique faces for each of them and pieces for their alt modes, other wise I would have no idea who is who.

During the trip back home I had a huge headache so I ended up laying down...for 4 hours...and still didn't fully get rid of it. But that evening we were going to a coworkers home for dinner and games. We had a really great time. Coworker and her hubby are as nerdy as we are, more towards the StarTrek/StarWars sides, but we still had a lot to talk about when it came to games and pop culture in general. They also have two kids who are adorable. Their little boy was first afraid of hubby, but coworker had him get his transformers and told him about how we had lots of them at our house and that I brought some to work too. He then latched onto hubby and had to show him all of his toys, I followed, but I could tell he was really just interested in hubby (one of the reasons why I don't want kids, I have no idea how to show my interest in them and they have no interest in me.) We also got a show during dinner when their little girl decided that she was going to turn her t-shirt into a halter top, and after coworker fixed it, the little girl just decided that her belly and chest were the most interesting thing at the table. Ah, children.
I had much more fun wearing down their dog ^^

After the kids were put to bed we broke out the games! We started with a game of Apples to Apples, because some games you can learn a lot about a persons humor if you get the right cards ;). Then we played a game of Settlers of Cattan. It was so much fun!

Then we had dessert and just talked for several hours. It really is nice to have people who you can talk about all types of nerdy stuff. We were there for five hours, it was so nice.

Your Kreos are cute! And sounds like fun but for the headache and the strangeness of kids. xD
