It's almost 5 am but I just had this train of thought and needed to write the main idea down first. I'll edit it later today. Others may have already made this connection but it's the first time my brain has made a connection on this "issue".
Genesis 1 is an over view of the creation story. (Verse) states that man and woman were made on the 6th day
Genesis 2 (verse) is often called as a way to say that the bible contidicts itself because woman is made for the second time. Not as mans equal but his lesser. Which has also lead to stories such as Lilith being the woman made in Genisus 1, who was uncontrollable, banished and eve mad in her place in Genesis 2. However, if we go back to Genisis 2 (verse) we see Adam also being created from dust of the earth. There is no fight of a second man being made, just the details of how he was made. Genisis 2 is a zoom in of how man and woman were both created on God's sixth day.
